Karen Dickenson Smith comes to us with an extensive background in public, private and non-profit sectors. She has deep experience and breadth in strategy and operations in the health sector. In a previous role as Director of Clinical Programs at Fraser Health Authority, Karen was responsible for development, implementation and evaluation of programs and services. She has worked in the area of strategic transformation, population and public health, including program and service areas supporting vulnerable and specialized populations and families. In her work she has specialized in the creation and implementation of sustainable service models aligned with ministry and service provision objectives. Karen holds a Master of Public Health (MPH), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree; as well as certificates in Family Preservation, Inter-professional Clinical Collaboration, and Change Management.
