LISE BEAUCHESNE, BSW, MSW, PH.D., RSW
DIRECTOR, COUNSELLING, TRAUMA AND VICTIM SERVICES
Lise Beauchesne has worked in the social work profession for 35 years in urban and rural settings, including community and hospital based mental health programs, university counselling centres, social work education, front-line practice in health care, and most recently, a Professional Practice Leader of social work within a provincial tertiary health care environment. She brings an extensive background in social work clinical practice, clinical supervision, reflective practice, mentorship, inter professional collaboration, and community relations. This is complemented by her advanced knowledge and experience in social work leadership, operations and professional management, strategic planning, and change management. Lise is passionate about collaborating with community partners and drawing upon collective wisdom of the group to learn how services can be more accessible and designed to meet an array of needs for children, youth, adults and families optimize their a quality of life. This passion is deeply rooted in her values of advocacy, social justice, and commitment to creating a more compassionate society. Lise holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Laurentian University, a Master of Social Work and a Doctorate of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University.
