DESCRIPTION:It’s time for Taxes 101! \nJoin Financial Empowerment at New Westminster Public Library for a free workshop all about taxes. \nFiling taxes is necessary to be able to get most government benefits. However\, we understand that many folks struggle to file their taxes. For some of us\, English isn’t our first language. Others of us are missing the identity documents we need. No matter what obstacles and complications are stopping you from filing your taxes\, we can help. \nOur experts assist you step by step\, answer your questions along the way\, and collaborate with you to overcome obstacles.  \nThis workshop is being offered in a hybrid model – it will be presented in person at the Main Branch of NWPL or you can attend from home via Zoom. The session will not be recorded. \nRegistration required.
