Making Holiday’s Brighter for Families in Greater Vancouver

Your generous donation helps them to build the knowledge, confidence, resources and resilience they need to look ahead to a better tomorrow.

Family Services of Greater Vancouver’s clients struggle with the impacts of poverty, trauma, isolation – and more. With our help, Family Services will support 800+ individuals this holiday season. Together, we can ensure that those in need receive the support they need, and feel the joy of the holiday season.

As for myself, I’m 30 years old and from an abusive family. I ran away from home when I was 14 years old and struggled with homelessness for a short period of time before finding the help I needed to get my life together. I was fortunate enough to have met amazing mentors along the way, some of them treat me as though I’m their own child. I have been working with youth and young adults for over a decade, and know first hand there is not enough support for most of them. I am asking for others to join me in my mission to make a positive impact and remind them that they’re not alone.
