SUMMARY:Story Walks + Book Distribution
DESCRIPTION:StoryWalks® is an outdoor program that encourages caregivers and their young children to explore and observe nature\, participate in fun engaging circle times\, and make new friends. A StoryWalk® is a deconstructed book with pages scattered throughout a green space. It encourages movement between pages and uses physical prompts to get the participant from one page to the next. With the help of its members and funding from Raise a Reader\, Literacy New Westminster will have 3 books available: \n\nSometimes I Feel like a Fox\, by Danielle Daniel\nLearn the Alphabet: with Northwest Coast Native Art\nThe Vernon and The Snake by local author Crystal J. Stranaghan
