DOWNTOWN DROP-IN CENTRE

We’re low barrier. But what does that mean? It means you can come as you are.

  • we won’t turn you away if you have pets (we can accept up to 4 pets)
  • we won’t turn you away for substance use
  • we won’t turn you away if you’re struggling with your mental health

The Drop-In Centre is open to youth ages 13-24.

We take an “under one roof” approach to services, which means you can get a lot of what you need, well, under one roof.

  • Use the restroom
  • Take hot showers
  • Wash your clothes
  • Store personal items in our lockers
  • Get harm reduction supplies, safe use kits, and info
  • Attend 2SLGBTQIA+ events, Indigenous workshops, and other life skills and activities events and workshops

We have 12 beds available each night for youth ages 19-24. The shelter is open overnight from 10:00pm-8:00am

To register:

  • Please speak with a staff member from 8:00pm-8:30pm to join the list
  • At 9:00pm staff will make a draw from the registration
  • Please note, there is no intake after 2:00am

When there’s extreme weather, we have an additional 10 beds to sleep in overnight.
