Shelter & Housing Supports
Shelter first, with support
Beyond the Drop-In Centre shelter, we operate two emergency safehouses for youth and distribute Reaching Home subsidies to prevent evictions and help youth find homes.
Overnight Shelter
Our Drop-In Centre has an Overnight Shelter program with 12 beds for youth ages 19-24. During Emergency Weather Responses (EWRs), the Drop-In Centre adds 10 extra overnight beds.
The Overnight shelter is open from 10:00pm-8:00am
To register:
- Please speak with a staff member from 8:00pm-8:30pm to join the list
- At 9:00pm staff will make a draw from the registration
- Please note, there is no intake after 2:00am
