About FSGV

At Family Services of Greater Vancouver, we’ve been here for our neighbours since 1928.

As a non-profit, FSGV helps people develop skills, knowledge, and confidence, empowering our neighbours to create positive change in their lives. Our staff, including counsellors and support workers, help survivors, families, and youth from an evidence-based, trauma-informed lens—all while providing compassionate, client-centered care.

Through thoughtful partnerships and a combined approach of intervention, harm reduction, and prevention, we are building a brighter future for all British Columbians.

Supporting victims and survivors, families, and children and youth across dozens of programs and services takes a lot of experience, expertise, and care. The FSGV Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team collaborate on the strategic and operational decisions that lead the Agency and shape its future.
