Do you have taxes that need to be filed? Have you missed the tax filing deadline? You may be missing out on benefits and tax credits. Financial Empowerment at FSGV is here to help with free tax filing! We can work together on current and previous years’ taxes. 

This confidential service is part of the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program. We’re teaming up to provide free tax clinics at New Westminster Public Library. 

Please bring your T4 slips and other forms and statements to help with filing.

On-site Service Canada

• Canadian Dental Care Plan – Information and Application/Attestation
• Pension information on Old Age Security and Canada Pension Plan
• Get a Social Insurance Number (birth certificate in most cases will be required)
• Receive an access code to sign up for online My Service Canada
• General Government of Canada information

Please note that we are unable to assist with and prepare tax filings for:

• Business or Rental Income
• Self-employment income over $1,000
• Interest or Capital Gains over $1,000
• Final Returns (for a deceased person)
