Notice to clients: Preparing for limited in-person counselling

We are continuing to evaluate the options and plans for a gradual return to the office and limited in-person counselling. Please note that we will not be returning to a full schedule of in-person counselling sessions during Phase 2 of the reopening of BC. BC’s Phase 2 allowance for in-person counselling also comes with many restrictions, guidelines and required protocols to keep everyone safe. We are currently working our way through the Worksafe BC guidelines to ensure our office spaces are safe for our clients and staff. Counsellors have been encouraged by Worksafe BC and the Public Health Officer to continue predominantly with virtual services (counselling by video or phone) as it is shown to be effective without the risk of spreading COVID-19. Once we are ready, (likely sometime in June), only a limited number of in-person appointments will be offered for those who are unable to work online. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we carefully plan for a safe and positive return to work. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak with your counsellor or contact our office.
