Positive Discipline Parenting Classes are taught by Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educators. Parents will learn to avoid power struggles while helping their children to learn self-control and self-discipline.
This workshop will discuss tools to teach valuable skills that promote kindness and firmness. These skills will help parents and caregivers reach the core of their child’s misbehavior, bring more joy into the home, and offer a sense of accomplishment.
Learning outcomes:
- Understand reasons and beliefs behind behaviors.
- Create a home environment that enhances cooperation, collaboration, communication, a sense of connection, and mutual respect.
- Gain practice through experiential exercises for “getting into the child’s world” to understand the “belief behind behavior” and motivate change.
