Understanding Consumerism

A free Financial Empowerment workshop all about consumerism. Come unpack consumerism with us: what it is and how to manage the influence it has on us.
Our world is constantly equating happiness with busying and consuming material things. Ads surround us with messages encouraging us to want, buy, and have MORE. There’s a high cost of consumerism on our health, financial stability, environment, and social equality.
This is an online financial help workshop. To join, you will need a computer, tablet, or phone with internet access. (It is ideal to have a webcam and microphone, though this is not necessary). A link and password to join the online session will be sent by email before the workshop.
